Jorge Mendoza is the Senior Vice President of Design at Related Ross bringing three decades of global expertise in architectural design, management, and technical experience on projects from concept through construction.
Jorge has led multiple award-winning projects across the U.S., Latin America, Asia, and Europe, working on everything from high-rise offices and mixed-use developments to academic, residential, hospitality and civic buildings. In Boston, he guided three of the city’s largest urban mixed-use developments, including Related Beal’s Channelside project, through the approvals process and is known for his collaborative approach and ability to bring complex projects to life.
Before joining Related Ross, Jorge spent 20 years as Managing Principal at Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates leading multidisciplinary teams in tight coordination and was an architect for both Kevin Roche John Dinkeloo and Associates, and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. He received his Bachelor of Architecture from Pratt Institute, followed by a Master of Architecture from UPenn and attended the University of Copenhagen.
A Registered Architect in nine (9) states, Jorge is also active in several professional organizations, including: AIA, NCARB, NOMA, NYCOBA, NYC Latinos in Design, HBCU Networking and Mentorship Program and the NYC Student Sponsorship Program (SPP).
