Spanning over 1.7 million square feet, BRiC is one of Boca Raton’s largest employment centers. Originally developed for IBM as a research and development campus, BRiC has a deep history in technology – the campus is where the company created its first personal computer. Today, more than four decades later, D-Wave Quantum recently selected BRiC for its new corporate headquarters, transitioning from Palo Alto, California. Nearby Florida Atlantic University also plans to install a D-Wave Advantage2 quantum computer and work with the company on research and career training fueling a talent pipeline for the company, while BRiC’s proximity to the Boca Raton Tri-Rail station and I-95 provides access to students and employers throughout South Florida.
