Promise Fund and Related Ross Foundation Celebrated First Annual Community Wellness Fair

The Community Event Brought Health Screenings, Family Activities, and Community Resources to Heart & Soul Park Over The Weekend with More Than 500 Attendees

West Palm Beach, FL [February 9, 2026] — Promise Fund and the Related Ross Foundation successfully hosted their first Annual Community Wellness Fair on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Heart & Soul Park in West Palm Beach’s Historic Northwest neighborhood, bringing together more than 500 attendees across the county for a day focused on health access, education, and community connection.

The free community-driven event connected local families and individuals of all ages with practical resources, including complimentary health screenings and wellness checks, while also offering meaningful activities, live entertainment, and nourishing meals—creating a welcoming environment where attendees could prioritize their health and strengthen connections with neighbors.

KEY EVENT HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Attendees had access to essential screenings including mammograms, cancer screenings, HIV testing, blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose, BMI checks, mental health assessments, and educational demonstrations—delivered by trusted partners such as Promise Fund, Invision, Monarch, the University of Miami, Florida Atlantic University, Caridad, and others. Many participants were also assisted with on-site appointment scheduling, helping extend care for future needs.
  • A series of organizations and partners, including Miami Dolphins’ Junior Dolphins, Florida Department of Health, Center for Family Services, Hanley Foundation, Rohi’s Readery, LEEDS Foundation, Sickle Cell Palm Beach Country, Path to College, System Floyd, and more, held a diverse lineup of interactive activities, informational sessions highlighting key subjects across the health and wellness sector, and key guest appearances from former NBA Player Gary Forbes, among other notable community leaders.
  • The first 500 attendees received a vendor passport and complimentary meal voucher from Eat ‘N Cake or Taqueria Guadalajara, promoting engagement with health resources while supporting local food partners.

“The response to our first Community Wellness Fair was incredibly moving and underscored what’s possible when a community comes together around shared care and access,” said Jeremy Morse, Executive Director of Related Ross Foundation. “Watching families gather, connect, and make use of these services reaffirmed the role programs like this play in supporting long-term well-being in West Palm Beach.”

“Our mission with the Promise Fund has always been about equity in action, ensuring families receive care regardless of income, background, or zip code,” said Nancy Brinker, Co-founder of Promise Fund. “Being able to meet families where they are and provide screenings, education, and guided support is how lives are changed. We’re deeply grateful to the Related Ross Foundation and our partners for helping expand access to early detection, survivorship, and care across this community.”

The first annual Community Wellness Fair highlighted the strength of connection across West Palm Beach and the importance of expanding access to health resources that allow residents to thrive. The event was made possible through the generous support of sponsors and partners, including Related Ross Foundation, Palm Beach Country Club, ESPN, Cleveland Clinic, UBS, Palm Beach County Sports Commission, Quantum Foundation, La Croix and Palm Health Foundation.
