Related Ross Connects Local Small Businesses with Opportunities Across Growing Palm Beach County Development Pipeline

Event brought local businesses together with contractors supporting major projects underway in West Palm Beach and Wellington

WEST PALM BEACH, FL (Oct. 5, 2026) – As Related Ross continues to advance development across Palm Beach County, the company convened 24 local small business enterprises (SBEs) and contractors at Hilton West Palm Beach on Thursday, October 1st to connect local businesses with opportunities to participate in that work.

The event focused on hiring local talent for five Related Ross developments moving forward in West Palm Beach and Wellington: Hilton Curio, 10 CityPlace, 15 CityPlace, Edgeworth and Village Landing. Business owners heard about upcoming work across the projects before meeting directly with contractors to discuss their capabilities and potential opportunities.

“Our investment across Palm Beach County is creating meaningful opportunities for local businesses, and we want to make sure they have a seat at the table,” said Scott Borland, Executive Vice President at Related Ross. “As we move these projects forward, events like these allow us to make those connections early and bring more local companies into the work happening across our portfolio.”

Thursday’s program was designed to move beyond a traditional vendor presentation and create direct conversations around those opportunities. Following remarks from Keith James, Mayor of West Palm Beach, and the Related Ross team, there were 32 individual meetings facilitated with contractors working across the company’s projects.

The event comes as Related Ross continues to invest across the region, with new office, residential, hospitality and mixed-use projects underway or planned in West Palm Beach and Wellington. That activity is creating new contracting needs at multiple stages of development, opening opportunities for local businesses to build and strengthen local relationships.

“Palm Beach County is growing, and we have work underway across our portfolio,” said Jordan Rathlev, Executive Vice President, Related Ross. “That creates real opportunities for small businesses and entrepreneurs that are already here and know this community. We want them to be part of what we’re building and the growth ahead.”

Related Ross will continue working with its contractors and local businesses as its Palm Beach County projects move forward, creating additional opportunities for companies across the region to participate in the work.
